Why you should not buy an iPhone in July?

Posted on Jul 20th 2021

The first iPhone was released in 2007. Since that time, Apple has released new iPhones every year. Maybe it took a page from annual vehicle model presentations. Each car year brings minor enhancements as well as some genuine redesigns.

I stopped updating my iPhone at regular intervals when Apple removed the earphone jack with the iPhone 7. I utilize that jack constantly, especially for recordings. When the model year update disappointed me, I just got settled in for the long haul.

In any case, as I said, it is July. Perhaps you are going out more nowadays. Wouldn't it be incredible to beat the mid-year doldrums, take a pleasant ride over to the Apple Store, and get a sparkly iPhone?

If we look at the stats, iPhone releases most of its new models in September – around 42% new releases indicate the month of September and 16% in October.

Every year, from 2012 through 2019, Apple has presented new iPhones in September. It likely would have launched the iPhone 12 in September 2020, but the pandemic thumped everything off its step. Indeed, even with COVID, Apple did its presentations in October (the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro) and November (the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Mini).

But you can see my point. Apple has set up a released design that talks about impending new iOS variants at WWDC in June, giving developers and clients an ideal opportunity to plan new applications. Then, it declares and delivers new smartphones, for the most part in September, but some of the time in October or November.

What does all that mean? It is July. Never purchase an iPhone in July.

So, are you longing for a new iPhone? When do you intend to get it? What features would you generally like to find in a new iPhone? It would be best to wait for the latest release to see what new iPhones have to offer this year.
